  The purpose of this study is to clarify the attitudes of others toward dress in the working scenes. An online questionnaire survey was conducted for men and women over the age of 18（n=249）. The question items are “Comparison of dress and other appearance factors” and “Attitudes of others toward dress in the working scenes.” The main results were as follows: 1 ) Dress and hairstyles are more impressive than other appearance factors. 2 ) As a result of factor analysis of the answers to “Attitudes of others toward dress in the working scenes” (Promax rotation / maximum likelihood method), 4 factors were extracted. The factor name was “Formal attire,” “Wearing a suit for formal occasions,” “Impression management by dress,” “Clothing functionality,” The average value of the subscale scores was “Clothing functionality,” “Impression management by dress,” “Wearing a suit for formal occasions,” and “Formal attire” in descending order.

• 若年女性におけるブラジャーのサイズ選択の実態

  本研究では, 若年女性におけるブラジャーのサイズ選択の実態を検証した. 56名 (平均21.7歳) を被験者とし, 基本身体寸法に基づくサイズ, 被験者が日常的に着用しているサイズ, 販売員の資格を持つ者 (評価者) が選定したサイズの比較をするとともに, サイズ選択に関わる要因についてつけ心地と外観より考察した. 得られた結果を以下に示す.
  
  (1) 被験者の基本身体寸法によるサイズは, 被験者が着用しているサイズおよび評価者が選定したサイズと一致する割合が低く, サイズの選択にはつけ心地や外観といったフィット性が影響するといえる. 基本身体寸法からは乳房の左右差, 形状等の推定が難しいため, フィット性を重視したサイズと差異が生じることが示唆された.
  
  (2) 被験者が着用しているサイズと評価者が選定したサイズは, 約40％が一致とみなせた. 一致していない場合, 被験者はカップ体型を小さく認識していることが示された.
  
  (3) 被験者が日常的に着用しているサイズに対して, 評価者はブラジャーのカップ上部や脇が身体に食い込んでいると評価していた. また, 評価者が適切なフィット性であると評価したサイズは, 被験者にとってカップ上部の浮きを感じさせることが示された.

  <p> 幼稚園3歳児クラス20名を対象に9ヶ月間にわたり観察調査を行い, 動作パターンと保育者の援助より, 幼児期の着脱動作の特徴を考察した.</p><p>(1) 保育者の援助は, 脱衣では主に「腕や頭を抜く」, 着衣では「はおる」に対して行われており, 3歳児にとっては難しい動作であることが示唆された.</p><p>(2) かぶり型衣服 (ポロシャツ・カットソー) の脱衣では, 腕から抜くという特徴がみられた. 動作の習得中は複数のパターンによって行われるが, 動作を習得すると動作パターンは定まるといえる.</p><p>(3) 前あき上衣の着衣におけるはおる動作では, 衣服の形態を確認してから動作を開始する様子が観察された. 保育者も援助を行っており, 「はおる」動作の習得において背中側での動作が難しいと推察される.</p><p>(4) 下衣の着脱の体位は, 観察期間中に「座位」から「つかまる」, 「立位」へと変化しており, 体位には全身を使う運動能力のうち平衡系動作の発達が影響していると推察される.</p>

• ろうけつ染めの布を用いた巾着袋の製作 : 教員養成課程での教科間連携の取り組み

  本学人間学部児童教育学科専門科目「図画工作」の受講者を対象とし、図画工作と家庭科の教科間連携の学習プログラムを実施した。落合地区の地場産業である「染め」を地域にとって身近な伝統工芸として取り上げながら、図画工作ではろうけつ染めを用いたオリジナルの布の製作を行い、家庭科では日常の生活で使用できる巾着袋をミシンによって製作した。教員養成課程の課題の一つとして挙げられるのは、「主体的な学び」を創造する指導力のある教員を養成することである。「主体的な学び」を創造する指導力のある教員養成を目指し、能動的な学びが学生にどのように現れたのか、さらに学生はその学びをどのように実感したのかについて、受講者のリフレクションペーパーを用いて、テキストマイニングによる分析を行った。分析の結果、図画工作では、染め技法を使った造形表現の難しさと楽しさを実感的に学ぶことができ、家庭科では、ミシンの使用および巾着袋の製作に関する基本的・基礎的な知識・技能を習得することができたことがわかった。製作学習を通した教科間連携により、学生は教員としての視点をもちながら、強い達成感を得ることができたと推察される。

• 「図画工作」と「家庭」の教科間連携の取り組み ― 木版画を施した布を用いた巾着袋の製作 ―

  本学人間学部児童教育学科111 名を対象にものづくりに関わる頻度等について質問紙調査を行い、そのうち16 名は図工と家庭科の教科間連携の学習プログラム（図工で木版画のスタンプを施した布を用いて家庭科で巾着袋の製作）を体験した。質問紙調査の結果より、本学児童教育学科の学生はものづくりや創作活動への興味関心は高いものの日常生活の中で取り組む内容には偏りがあることが明らかになった。教科間連携の取り組みとして、木版画を施した布を用いた巾着袋の製作を通して、図工では発想や構想の能力、家庭科では基本的な技能の習得を目的に学習プログラムの開発をして実践した。本実践では教材を提示するタイミングを重視し、図工では完成品は提示せずにスタンプをした布とスタンプを施していない巾着袋を提示するのに対して、家庭科ではすべての工程を提示した。作品の評価や学生の振り返りの結果より、図工では制作が進むにつれてイメージをより具体的に表現できており、家庭科では技能の習得ができたといえる。

• 5歳児におけるボタンかけと手指の巧緻性の関連

  <p>  The purpose of this study was to investigate the relation between the buttoning movements and the skillfulness in fingers and hands. The subjects were 54 5-year-old kindergarten infants (21 boys and 33 girls).</p><p>  The results were as follows:</p><p>  (1) Characteristics of buttoning movements were considered through the observation of the time required and the movement patterns. The time required for buttoning varied substantially among individuals. The movement was classified into two patterns: 'push out' and 'pick out'. The time required for the 'pick out' movement was longer than that for the 'push out'.</p><p>  (2) Skillfulness in fingers and hands were measured by a bead-stringing test and a string-tying test. The girls performed better on both tests. Skillfulness in fingers and hands were analyzed by the string-tying test in terms of the time required and the movement patterns.</p><p>  (3) There was a tendency for common movement patterns in the bead-stringing tests and the buttoning movements. Therefore, it was suggested that infants with higher skillfulness in fingers and hands required less time for buttoning.</p>

• ミシンを用いた製作学習におけるICT活用の提案 : 小学校教員養成課程の大学生を対象とした動画教材の効果の検証<教育科学>

  University students in training faculty for elementary school teaching took lessons in machine sewing using ICT. After learning the basic use of sewing machines, the students sewed small bags referring to the handouts and video materials installed on Tablet PCs. The effects of learning machine sewing, the use of ICT and the points of attention in teaching were considered using the results of the pre and post questionnaires and the evaluation on the small bags sewn. The results are as follows;(1) The pre-lesson questionnaire survey showed that students tended to be passive in machine sewing than in hand sewing because of their short skills and knowledge. The post-lesson survey revealed that the study not only promoted their knowledge and skills but also enhanced their conscious towards teaching.(2) There was positive attitude towards the use of ICT by the students, most prominent in confirming the parts that were unclear. It can be concluded that video materials are effective tools in teaching as it has shown the potential to promote understanding, and to enhance seeking one's own solution.(3) Referring to the small bags submitted, points to be noted were considered. Sewing coasters was suggested as a better material to teach basics in a shorter time and to provide educational opportunity to more students, and resulted in a posting of video contents for sewing coasters on the internet.

• 動作パターンからみた5歳児の着脱の特徴

  The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of movement patterns of the putting on and taking off of the clothes. The subjects were 56 infants of the 5-year-old kindergarten.The results are as follows;（1） The movements of taking off pull-over style knitted exercise uniforms could be classified into three patterns. About 80% of the subjects took off it, starting to remove the arm.（2） The movement patterns of some infants were different from adults when fasten the buttons on the blouse. The subject who had a long required time for buttoning needed time to hand the button from the right hand to the left hand. Fastening the buttons of the waistline, more than half subjects confirmed the position of the buttonhole and the button with eyes.（3） About 70% took off and about a half put on the half-pants with a standing position.

• 針と糸を使った製作学習におけるICT活用の提案:― 教員養成系学部の大学生を対象とした動画教材の効果の検証―

  This study is to investigate the use of video materials installed on Tablet PCs, explaining basicsewing techniques and how to sew a small bag. The subjects for the study are 135 university students intwo classes at a teacher training faculty. The results are as follows;(1) Questionnaire survey shows that about half of the students had not sewn using fabrics aftergraduating junior high, and had little opportunity in using needle and thread in daily life.Educational opportunity to improve their skills is needed.(2) Skill level of basic hem stitch was evaluated from three points of view: number of stitches, quality offront side seam, and quality of backside seam.(3) Comparing the skill of hem stitch between classes with and without video materials on Tablet PCs, thepercentage of those with higher skills were found in the class that made use of the Tablet PCs. It canbe concluded that a repeated use of video materials promoted understanding and improving sewingskills.(4)In sewing of the small bag, students often made use of the video materials in confirming the parts thatwere unclear. An effect to promote self-solution is expected in a video.

  The purpose of this study is to investigate how the experience of putting on and taking off clothes influences the growth of children. The subjects of questionnaire surveys were child care workers. <br>&nbsp;&nbsp;It was found that: (1) Children in kindergartens and nurseries have a habit of putting on and taking off clothes regularly. Children learned the fine movements such as buttoning and putting away their clothes, and the configuration of clothes between the ages of 3 and 5. (2) Child care workers at kindergartens felt a stronger need for assistance than those at nurseries in having children put on and take off clothes by themselves. Educational effects gained from the experience of putting on and taking off clothes were children's mental development and their becoming independent in their clothing habits. (3) About 60％ of the child care workers felt that children's skillfulness in using their fingers and hands has decreased compared to before, giving specific examples mostly of basic living habits such as buttoning. It can be speculated that one of the causes is modern living, in which only easy movements are required. About 70％ were conducting activities to improve finger and hand dexterity in kindergartens and nurseries, mainly through play.

  This research examines the relationship between clothing behavior of young males and self-monitoring and its relationship with lifestyle attitudes as manifested in the "herbivore pattern" (<i>sōshokuka</i>) phenomenon. A questionnaire was presented to 290 male university students. The results were as follows:<br>(1) There was a weakening of awareness of separate gender-specific roles in lifestyle attitudes. The subjects were consumer-oriented and fastidious about cleanliness. Cluster analysis revealed that they were "positive independence in romantic relationships," "subconscious awareness" and "sound and negative approach to romantic relationships" types.<br>(2) Factor analysis of clothing behaviour revealed the first factor as "valuing fashion and external appearance," the second as "femininity" and the third as "emphasising sensitivity."<br>(3) As to the relationship between attitudes of lifestyle and clothing behaviour, we found that members of the type characterised by "positive independence in romantic relationships" valued fashion and external appearance, and those with "sound and negative approach to romantic relationships" tended to demonstrate feminine patterns of clothing behaviour and to value sensitivity.<br>(4) As to the relationship between clothing behaviour and self-monitoring, subjects who "value fashion and external appearance" highly showed a high degree of orientation towards otherdirectedness and acting. Subjects who put great importance on "value sensitivity" showed extroversion, other-directedness and acting.

  The purposes of this study are to investigate the movement characteristics of buttoning and unbuttoning using one hand, as well as to examine the relationship between the required time for the movement and the overlap, habits when putting on and taking off clothes, and handedness. In addition, movement characteristics were compared with the movement of the hand when performing daily activities using a questionnaire. In the experiment, front-opening clothes of two types having different overlaps were used. Subjects were thirty-one healthy male university students（ twenty were right-handed, eleven were left-handed）. Each subject was asked to button and unbutton each shirt with both hands and one hand. They were then required to answer a sensory evaluation sheet regarding the difficulty of performing the operations with one hand. The subjects also answered a questionnaire concerning 14 daily activities done with the hands, including 5 activities involving the putting on and taking off of clothes. The results were as follows: 1）Regarding the time required to perform operations with one hand, the only significant difference was found when buttoning with a right overlap （left>right）. Buttoning with a left overlap and unbuttoning showed no significant difference; 2）The subjects felt that it was difficult to use their right hand when there was a right overlap; 3）Regarding daily activities with one hand, performing the operations of tool was used by left or right hand.The other, the subjects had no preference when it came to putting on and taking off clothes. This was particularly true for the buttoning and unbuttoning of shirts.

  今年度は、幼児を取り巻く衣生活の実態を明らかにするための質問紙の作成を主に行った。これまで被服分野では幼児を対象とした量的研究があまり行われてきていないため、質問紙を作成するにあたり、予備調査として仙台市内の幼稚園での観察調査および質問紙のプレテスト行った。予備調査の結果、以下のことが明らかになった。①幼児の観察調査：おおむね一人で着脱動作を行うことができ、中には脱いだ衣服をたたんで着替え入れの袋に入れるこどももいる。衣服の前後や靴の左右を確認する習慣はあるが、間違えて着用する場合もある。汗をかくと衣服が体にくっつき、一人で脱ぐのは困難である。②質問紙調査のプレテスト：調査項目について動作の習得状況については「○○が着られる」というよりも「裏返しに気づく」、「袖を通すことができる」など着脱のプロセスを聞かれたが答えやすいといった指摘があった。生活面に関する意見交換では、自立した衣生活を送ることの重要性は理解しているが、園生活の中で特別取り組んでいることはない、食べることに関しては親の関わり方が大きく影響していると感じている、ぬりえの筆圧が弱い、生活経験が乏しい、裸足になる（汚れること）に抵抗がある、といった意見が出た。以上のことをもとに衣服の着脱を「生活動作のひとつ」と捉えて新たに質問紙を作成した。質問紙は１．衣生活の自立への取組み（着替えの場面、園生活で着用している衣服、着替えに対する援助の状況）、２．子どもの衣生活の自立に対する考え（衣生活の自立の教育的効果、園で援助する基本的な生活習慣、手指の巧緻性への関心）より構成した。質問紙の発送は新年度の開始に合わせて行うこととする。
