The purpose of this study is to clarify actual condition of network residence in 2 cities of Kanto area. We continued the survey and from the data analysis, the following results were obtained. 1) The average number of members of "family consciousness" surpassed that of household will be 7-8 in Kanto area. The average number of households among the network residence include 2 or 3 dispersed residence. They have same tendencies between Tohoku district and Kanto area. 2) On the whole, a little less than 20-30% of households are 'non-network residence' type. They have a point of agreement between members of 'family consciousness' and members of living together. Over 70% households have the 'family consciousness' to more than 2 dispersed residence, which belongs to the network residence. The average of the number of dispersed residence households are approximately 3 in every district. 3) In the larger cities, a smaller scale household belonging the network residence are the mainstream compared to the family that three generations live together. 4) We focus on the life cycle of families, and set up the three spans divided by two fixed stages through the life. From analyzing the data with these stages, we made it clear the structure of the network residence and the character of the district.

The purpose of this study is to clarify actual condition of network residence in Tohoku district. We continued the survey and from the data analysis, the following results were obtained, 1) The average number of members of "family consciousness" surpassed that of household, and will be up to 8 in Tohoku district. The average number of household among network residence is 2.6, which means a number of family include 2 or 3 dispersed residence. 2) Over 70% households in every district have over 2 dispersed residences. The average of channel (a number of dispersed residence) tends to decrease in elderly households. 3) About 80% of members of "family consciousness" are parents, children, brothers and sisters and spouse. In Tohoku district, the family consciousness for children tends to increase till they are in 60s, and to decrease thereafter. 4) We found out regional tendency according to family types of the network residence. From a comparison of each district, we presupposed the process for each type of network residence in Tohoku district.

We investigated the relation between the network residence and "family consciousness". Households and houses were surveyed to be categorized according to the network residence. The following results were obtained. 1) The number of members of "family consciousness" surpassed that of household. 2) The relatives of spouse were included to the members of "family consciousness". 3) The younger married person held the family consciousness as including more households compared to the elderly person. 4) The detached owned house was recognized as a core of the network residence and "family consciousness".

A nationwide survey on the current status of ICT use in junior high school home economics housing studies was conducted in 2017. The results showed that teachers of home economics in junior high schools felt the necessity of ICT teaching materials that could create floor plans(house layout on computers, represent in three dimensions, and change furniture arrangements and interior designs. Secondly, they wanted ICT materials that could simulate the shaking and falling of furniture during an earthquake. Therefore, we created a floor plan with equipment and furniture arranged, and also created its 3D model, 1/15 house models, its video, and Virtual Reality to utilize at junior high schools in home economics classes "Relationship between family life and living space" and "The way of preparing living space for natural disasters”. The students of the Faculty of Education were asked to evaluate the suitability of the teaching materials by 27 questions.

This study is aimed at the development of effectual teaching materials for coureswork of housing education in schools. We got a collection of past research data related to housing education and Home Economics in schools. By analyzing them we understand trends of housing education and present situation of home economics education's revealed problems. Data collection has been conducted by the database search of past studies and by article extraction from home economics education-related magazine's back numbers. As a way to understand the present situation we made a nationwide survey for collecting the opinions of teachers.
We created a report of this study period based on the results obtained through this research survey.

If the family is the network's relations of the dispersed households, the family becomes the group of that the range differs by the each image. Therefore, we have to understand that we do not observe the relation between one household and one house. One family lives in plural residences separated in plural households. The housing demands and needs to be occturred by the network residence will request the new housing policy. If we express the main point of the research results, it is as follows.
First of all, we made clear the actual conditions of network residence statistically targeting Sendai-shi. As a result one family consists of the average 2.7 households and the family numbers are 7.4 persons. After analyzing patterns of the network families from the viewpoint of "the family type", "dispersion type" and "relative type", we calculated the appearance quantity and the constitution ratio of each type.
Next, we investigated about the change of the functions in the house of network residence. It is the case study with regard to the usage changes of child rooms after the child left the nest. Child rooms as a result are used to various functions. Accordingly the decrease of size of a household is not linked with the decrease of dwelling floor area. Also, it plays an important role that the new function is brought in the child room by a new housing life of parents staying here. The increase of the new housing expenses occurred by network residence is defined as "network cost". The cost was shared between the parent's household and child's household.
Last, we analyzed the network residence in the metropolitan area and Tokusima Pref., from the viewpoint of the spatial extent and geographic characteristic.
